Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31-07-2026
1. Overview
Process Mind is a free educational tool for learning operating system algorithms. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and why.
2. Information We Collect
Process Mind does not require an account, and the simulators themselves run entirely in your browser — the inputs you enter into a simulator are not sent to us or stored anywhere. The only information we collect is described below.
3. Feedback and Contact Information
If you use the feedback form, we collect what you choose to submit: your message, and optionally your name and email address. Submissions are processed through Google Forms, so this information is also subject to Google's own privacy policy. We use it only to read, respond to, and act on feedback.
4. Automatically Collected Information
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics/Insights to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages and simulators are visited, and general device and location information (such as browser type and approximate region derived from IP address). We do not use this to identify you personally.
5. How Information Is Used
- To respond to feedback and bug reports
- To understand which features and algorithms are actually used, so we can prioritize improvements
- To keep the site secure and working correctly
We do not sell or share your information with advertisers.
6. Third-Party Services
Process Mind currently relies on the following third-party services:
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
- Google Analytics — usage analytics
- Vercel Analytics/Insights — usage analytics
- Google Forms — feedback submissions
Each of these services processes data under its own privacy policy, in addition to this one.
7. Cookies
Process Mind itself does not set cookies. However, Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (for example, to distinguish returning visitors) as part of its standard tracking. You can block or clear these through your browser settings, or use a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts.
8. Data Retention
Feedback submissions are retained as long as needed to review and act on them. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics.
9. Children's Privacy
Process Mind is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as the project evolves — for example, if we add or remove a third-party service. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy can be submitted through the feedback page.
